now works! Having a dozy moment this morning I think! Regards, Steve "Kamehameha" wrote: Hi, The code via this link is massively helpful, I've been able to use it to run an access VBA Procedure from Excel and am v impressed with that. I do have an issue though that I don't seem to be able to solve. When the Access macro has completed, my code returns to Excel & I want to close the instance of Access running on my machine - how do I do it? a.Close doesn't work and comes up with an error. (Where a is an Object in the code representing Access). Any ideas? -- Regards, Steve "RocketMan" wrote: WOW! you must have just been there.
