Default Publish as Web Page with Password

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to save an Excel file as a web page or publish it and have it
update when the original file is saved.

The web page would be viewed by employees for updated information several
times a day and this would replace a notice board using magnets (archaic).

The problem I am having is the Excel file needs to remain pasword protected
and shared. Excel will not allow the page to be publsihed while protected.
Is there any work around to this problem?

Sincerely grateful
Martin

Rather than sheet protection you can use Workbook protection. Protected
workbook can be published as web-page.

Hi Himani,

Thank you for the response. Save Workbook or Save Shared Workbook will not
protect cells and thererfore dat and in particular, formulas can be changed
or deleted so I can't use this command.

Thanks anyway.

Martin
