Default WORD AND EXCEL SHORTCUT KEYS

Excel doesn't offer the same formatting shortcuts as MSWord does.

Default WORD AND EXCEL SHORTCUT KEYS

First, if you want to ask questions about MSWord, you'll get better answers (I'd
guess) by asking in an MSWord news group--or searching google in the *Word*
newsgroups.

MSWord:

ctrl shift
ctrl shift <
to increase and decrease the font size of the selected text.

Shift-F3 will cycle through the case options.

=====
Excel:
Ctrl-shift-P will get to the font size dropdown on the formatting toolbar. You
can type your new choice there.

You could also add a couple of icons to your favorite toolbar:
Tools|Customize|Commands tab|Format category
look for "increase font size" and "decrease font size" and drag each to a
toolbar.

Changing case in excel requires a helper cell:

=upper(a1)
=lower(a1)
=proper(a1)

or a macro.
