I have an Excel file that contains a couple userforms and plenty of VB in
about 60 different Sub's. When I save the file the save process seems to take
about 3 to 4 times longer than saving an excel file without macros. Is this
my immagination or do UserForms, Modules, etc slow the save process? Is there
anything to do to speed up the save process?

Try cleaning up your Temp directory, this might help.
Start--Run--%Temp%

Although there was lots to delete from the temp directory this had no effect
on the lengthy save process for this particular excel file.
