DEAR ALL
Can someone tell me how to go to say thread 100 or 300 instead of
clicking each time -next- button and scanning 10 threads at a time to
see this discusion groups threads??

Try entereing 10 in the page box at the botton. That should move you along
about 120-130 depending on the size of your screen.

Sorry I did it before itself Mr. Martin but it goes off into the side
screen numbers where present. So the minute i type a number it jumps
to the side screen.

Don't use the web interface to view newsgroups, use a real news reader e.g.
Outlook Express, Agent etc.
You will find it much easier.
