Default Excel Capabilites when interacting with Outlook

I had a thought. (Did you feel the ground move?)

If i have a Date(future Date) in a Cell, Is there a way to Create a Macro to:

Schedule a Reminder to Run on that Day in MS Outlook.

The date is Currently in a Word Doc, but i cannot seem to find out if it possible with Word,
so though i would post this in Excel NG to see if this is possible?
