Default Interacting with Excel open in IE

I have a web based Excel application I want to manipulate. It is a
single Excel sheet in an IE window. Using Excel 2003 and XP. I can
not change the starting application displayed. I have been able to add
additional sheets, copy, paste and manipulate the data, format the new
sheets, add an AutoFilter, Sort the data, add equations, etc. I am
using the Personal.xls file to run the macros using a ctrl + q key
shortcut. However, I would like to run various sorts on the data after
initial macros are finished. Sort on various columns (12 months of
data).

What would be the suggested approach? Where would I store the macros?

Ken
