Default add a letter to contents in a cell in excel

I have a spreadsheet with a lot of sku's in one of the columns. I would like
to add an R in front of these. I used a formula a few years ago to do this,
now I forget how I did it.

use the excel function "CONCATENATE"

In a column, use a formula like

="R"&A1
