Default Page Break Preview sliders not working

Does she have a printer assigned/selected?

A user called... when the worksheet is set to View-Page Break Preview, she
is
unable to move the page breaks up/down or left/right.

The little up/down or left/right arrow that usually comes up when the
cursor
is hovered over the page break, does not appear, and there is no way to
select/move the page breaks.

I tried it on my machine, it works fine.

I tried it in a new application window on her machine with a new file, it
does not work.

Can anyone tell me what would cause this, and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Mark

Does she have a printer assigned/selected?

Good question.

I think so... it brought up the page-break-preview with about 4 pages set...

she just couldn't slide the blue page divider lines up and down, like
normal...

I don't use that feature, myself, but I tested it on my machine and saw that
it works like she says it does... I tried a new worksheet in a new
application window, on her machine, and it didn't help.

I'll check with her about whether she has a printer selected, on Monday.

Thanks for the suggestion.

If that doesn't work, it should fix it to reload Office, I would think..
that doesn't take long.

Is Drag and Drop turned on:

ToolsOptions, Edit tab
Add a check mark to Allow cell drag and drop

You're welcome! Thanks for letting me know that fixed the problem.

Debra,

I just called the user and checked this. She did not have this set.

We turned on Drag and Drop, and it fixed the problem.

Thanks!
Mark
