Update "button" references automatically
In an excel sheet I have generated radio buttons which will be used to
collect data for a survey. A cell contains 4 buttons where each button has a reference to another location of the excel sheet if selected by the user. When I add a new row in the excelsheet, the references of the buttons do NOT get updated automatically. Therefore one has to go and mnually change the reference point. Is there a way to avoid this manual and long hour tasks since the survey contains ober 300 lines of 4 radio buttons? |

Depends on what you are referencing to determine the method. You can use a
named range or cell, all depends on what you are selecting -- -John Northwest11 Please rate when your question is answered to help us and others know what is helpful. Update "button" references automatically
I am referencing to another cell within the same sheet.
Basically I made another copy of the table a couple columns away towards to the right. Each button has a refernce point in the copy version. But the reference point have been entered manually. WHen a new line is added, the items under the new line need to be shifted by a row manually and it is not automated. I want to somehow automate it.
