Default Adding time

Thanks to a lot of people I have nearly got my work duty sheets up and
running.......but i've hit a snag.....

I have everyones start and finish time........finish time - start time =
hours worked.......


MONDAY 08:15 17:35 09:20
TUESDAY 08:20 17:45 09:25
WEDNESDAY 08:45 17:35 08:50
THURSDAY 08:50 17:35 08:45
FRIDAY 08:50 12:30 03:40
SATURDAY OFF

TOTAL HOURS 16:00



I'm trying to get the right hand column to add up the hours worked which
should add to 40 hours (so long as i havent made a mistake...)

BUT.....it's not doing it correctly.....

I have all columns formatted as Custom......HH:MM

I thought it would be easy to add the right hand column up.....but to me
it's proving a bit of a hurdle...

Can you help me...Thanks in Advance...
