2007: Macro recording not working for some actions
I just tried to use macro reporting to work on an Excel 2007 bug that I'll
report later, and just found that if you create shapes on a worksheet, the macro recorder does not record anything. Of course, that used to work with previous versions. BTW, if I want to draw 3 circles, I cannot lock the circle feature by double clicking on it (like in previous versions). Now I have to right click, then click on lock. What was so bad with double clicking ??? MrT |

Macro recording not working for some actions
This is a known shortcoming. Certain chart actions and all shape actions are
not captured by the recorder. This is a major problem, because the way people learn about the code and about syntax is through use of the recorder. This is at odds with all the talk about making Office more discoverable. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "MrT" wrote in message ...
