select offset (variable ,1) to offset(variable ,variable)

how do i
in excel vba - i have a routine that loops through a sheet, and
highlights a single offending cell..

ActiveCell.Offset(i, C).Interior.ColorIndex = 7

i want to highlight the row, one colour and the single another colour

select offset (variable ,1) to offset(variable ,variable)?
