Default time sheets using hours and totals

I run an in home day care and I am using excel 2003 for my clients sign in
-sign out sheets. When they drop off their child they write down the time,
same thing when they pick up the child. I need to add the total hours of
time in & out for the day. then I need to multiplie the total daily hours
by the amount I charge. I have been unable to figure out how to do this.
example d3 would be 8:10am time in and f3 would be 2:00pm time out and I
need total hours in g3 can you help
