Default HTML for Excel Question

I'm programatically generating files with HTML code for Excel to
interpret.
Is it possible within HTML code, to instruct Excel to disable
Background Error Checking?
(The little triangle on the upper left corner of a cell).
Or even better, within HTML code set the Background Error Checking
color to WHITE?

Thanks,

Mandy

Default HTML for Excel Question

I don't know exactly what your page looks like. But some times it's
better to create the html page in Excel and then to take a jpg image of
the worksheet and to handle anchor tag links with image maps.

If you have that as a choice you get the luxury of making download time
much much less than it would have been if you'd have stored the HTML
page generated by Excel on the server.

Also, you get rid of all those funky cells that show up as table rows
and columns.
