Default automatic referencing in excel between two spreadsheets

How I get a cell to reference to another cell.

An example.

I have a balance sheet - One item in my worksheet "Balance Sheet" links
to another worksheet "Schedule 1" . What I want to happen is that next
to the cell in my balance sheet its shows a reference to the schedule
and in the schedule it shows a refernce to the balance sheet.

Does this make sense???
