Default How to make a File READ ONLY

Folks,

I forgot how to make my Regional Sales Forecast Template READ ONLY to stop
any chance of the template being Changed. When completed the template is
saved using the SAVECOPY VBA function.

Thanks for your help.

right click on it in windows explorer and select properties, it is one of the
properties.

another option or an additional option:
when you do a save as of the template itself, tools=General Options,
password to modify. this is different in the different versions of excel,
but it is somewhere on the saveas dialog.
