I cannot open an excel file on the network, an error occur that
"filename.xls cannot be accessed.The file may be read-only,or you may be
trying to access a read-only location.Or, the server the document is stored
on may not be responding"
The excel file was not a read only and I can access other on the network.I
used excel 97 SR-2. I already try to open the file on excel 2000 SR-3.

Please help i cannot open the file.
What exactly happen to the file?

Copy it to local drive and try from there.
If the file is corrupt, people report success by opening in OpenOffice.
