Default can I use text color to set up a formula in excel (Red text = -1)

If you knew the exact color index or RGB combination that made up the RED
text you might be able to do it, but it is an extremely dangerous way to
write your code if you are looking for accuracy. I would suggest you try a
different type of flag that is easier to control for input by the user.
