Default Margins

I want to change the margin defaults on the page setup. Currently they are
(like I assume everyone's is) Top and Bottom=1", Left and Right .75" and
Header/Footer=.5.

I want them to default to be Top/Bottom 0.7; Left/Right .25; and
header/footer 0.3
Can you please help.
thanks

Default Margins

you can do this using the special templates

Sheet.xlt
Book.xlt

If you create the options you want and save as Book.xlt in the xlStart
directory, then you should get those settings as the default when you create
a new workbook.

sheet.xlt would be used when you insert a new sheet.

Is it possible to have it default on all sheets, not just the ones I create.
I export a lot from access and when I open in excel i do not want to have to
reformat.

I don't know how you are exporting, but I would suspect not if the export is
creating the workbook and then you are opening it (the already existing
workbook) in excel
