Default Importing to Excl 03 from Outlook 2003 Custom Form in a Pblc Fldr

On one side of the spectrum, there are programmers who know what they are
doing with VBA and on the other end, as far away from that as you can get,
there's me. I am in WAY WAY over my head, and need to find a way out.

I have designed an Outlook form that posts a task to a public folder, and I
want to be able to export from that folder into an Excel spreadsheet (or
import from Outlook into Excel, whichever makes sense). I don't mind copying
that folder down to my own folders and running the Outlook export wizard, but
when I did that, I was able to export... but only the fields defined by
Outlook€¦ my custom form fields do not show up.

There's got to be a superhero out there somewhere who doesn't mind walking
me through step-by-step. Just so you know what you're getting into, I am
maybe 2 or 3 levels up from the guy that calls tech support because he can't
even turn his machine on. I am THAT ignorant.

HELP!
