Default Using an equation in a form

Hi,
I have a form which users use to enter data into a database but some of the
fields need to contain an equation.
I.E. if field product code = a and field quantity = 2 then field
cost = lookup value from list and x 2
How do I do this?

Thanks in advance .. Chris
