Default Fill Down

Hi I have a list:

cell a1:J1
CELL A2:J1
CELL A3: (bLANK)
CELL A4: J2
CELL A5: (BLANK)
A6: J12
A7: J12
A8: J12
A9: (BLANK)
ETC.ETC.

I have 2000 rows of this nature,
I need a fill down so that in the above for example A3 WILL BE J1, A
WILL BE J2 and A9 will be J12.
etc.

Thank
