Default Send key in an inactive window

Dear all,

Is there a way to sendkey in an inactive window so that the focus can always
stay in Excel to show the vba running progress status?

SendKeys is always sent to the active window, no choice.
You need to rethink your approach.

what are you "sending keys" to - that might help us to come up with an
alternative method?
