Exporting and Importing Data into a preexisting Workbook
Hey all, Big fan of this forum. I've been trying to figure out what th simplest way to export data from 2 specific sheets and manage to sav the formulas and comments to like a .xls file then be able to reimpor them. the worksheets are called "Data" and "Loss Analysis Data" I' like to be able to save those 2 sheets to a file (we work with man different accounts) then import those files. So far everything I'v tried has screwed up the dates or formulas. Anyone have any ideas -- rtheisse ----------------------------------------------------------------------- rtheissen's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=3616 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=55947 |

If you are using xl2003, what about saving as XML?
You could then open it and copy the information over to your new workbook. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "rtheissen" wrote: Hey all, Big fan of this forum.
