Default Frame

I want to place a button in a frame or some type of container placed on a
spreadsheet. I have managed to insert a Frame but if I try to add buttons to
it they just disappear. How do you do this?

More than likely your button is behind the frame. Right-click on the frame
and select Order/Send to Back, and it should put the frame behind the
button. Set the properties of each object as you want and center the button
in the frame. Now select both objects. Hold down Shift while you select the
2nd object so the first object won't unselect. Now right-click in the button
and select Group to make both objects into one object.
