I have done some playing with this workbook. For some reason (for which I
cannot find any setting), =TRUE in a cell on the sheet calc shows as 1
whilst =FALSE shows as a blank cell, whilst on calc2 they show as TRUE and
FALSE.

Of course since dati!C3 is not equal to "Tramoggia", the 4 on sheet calc is
incorect, but I cannot see what is doing this.

This has to do with working in Lotus 123 format. To resolve the apparent
issue with tab 'calc' - with that tab selected, go to Tools | Options |
Transition, and uncheck 'Transition formula evaluation'. The formulas will
then display the expected values.

Cheers!

Luca, the results are consistent between the two tabs. You can experiment
further to satisfy yourself of that, and can read about Excel's Lotus
emulation if interested.

A general comment regarding the syntax in the formulas: the + following the
leading = is not necessary.

Regards,
George
