Default Control for selecting cells in worksheets

Hi everybody,
I want to find and use a control like that which is used when inserting
functions in a worksheet and selecting cells. I will design a userform that
is comparable with this used for functions
In the first step there is a symbol for the worksheet to click on to make it
possible to select a cell (or a range). In next step you confirm the
selection by clicking on an other symbol and after that you are back in the
userform for the function.
Hopefully you will understand what I'm looking for and the question is if I
can get that kind of control separate.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If I understand you correctly you want the RefEdit control. It is part of the
standard control toolbox for userforms. It will be that last control assuming
you have not added any controls to your toolbox...
