Default invoice template?

I am using the "invoice" template to create a custome invoice. I need to
change the function of the cell which asks for the state abreviation.
Whenever I select the cell a note pops up explaining that you are to enter
the abreviation for the state. This isn't a comment. I can't figure out
what it is called or how to get rid of it.

Kranek, select the cell and try data, validation, input message, and see if
there is anything there

Tried it. No go. Validation is greyed out. Is there any way of openning
the template as a template?

Tried again after realizing I hadn't removed the protection on the file.
Your suggestion seems to work.
