Default Form placement on spreadsheet

I've had trouble if the shape isn't completely within the cell (or row for
you???).

And did you rightclick on the rectangle
select "format autoshape"
properties tab
select "move and size with cells"

I'm not sure what moving the form around the screen means, though.

Hi everyone-

I hope I have this in the right section.

I have a transparent box linked to a macro that causes a form to
"pop-up" on the spreadsheet when the user thinks s/he is clicking the
underlying cell. I want that darned form to always pop-up to cover that
cell and a couple neighboring cells, but so far all I can do is set the
position manually by bringing up the form's properties window and
setting the Top and Left startup positions, along with setting the
placement to manual. That sticks it about where I need it. As long as
no one shrinks the darned spreadsheet window or simply clicks and moves
the idiot form around the screen. Then I look like a complete schmultz
(OK, I don't know if that is a word in any dialect, but you get the
picture).

Seems to me there should be a way to anchor such a puppy to a cell, but
I just don't have the smarts yet.

Help?
