Default Administrator of Macro

I work from a remote location and need to be able to edit macros that other
users will need. Instead of storing these macros in their personal workbook
where I won't have access to them, is there a way I can store them on a
shared server and have them automatically launch when these folks open excel?
That way I can maintain them from my location in another state.

I appreciate your help, thank you
