Default calculate time and multiply it by $ amount

the payroll calculators are not able to calculate the difference or total
hours and minutes and create an actual number that can then be
multiplied...at least I couldn't figure it out.

Hi DR,

I am guessing that you need to check your units.

Assuming you mean you want to multiply a time by an hourly rate you
need to make sure both parts are in the same units.

Your time will probably be in days (excel's standard unit of time -
see the help files), and therefore you need to multiply it by a daily
rate (rather than $/min or whatever else you might use).

If your current rate is in $/min then multiply that by 24 x 60 (1440)
to get to a daily equivalent.

Try that and post back with somthing specific (example) if it doesn't
resolve your issue.

HTH,

Alan.
