Default workbooks damaged

Does anyone know what could be the reasons workbooks are getting damaged
if using macro's?
I have started using vba a few months ago so I don't have much
knowlegde.
The macro's I use aren't probably the best, but by testing they seem to
work.
Problem is files are getting damaged if many people open the files at
the same time. I've used readonly for this, tested and works by opening
with 3 or 4 people.

Does anyone has ideas, suggestions I should take notice of?

Thanking you in advance,
