I just made a spreadsheet where I wanted an easy way for a user to
input a date - so I choose a calendar widget from the control toolbox. It was called calendar 11.0. It workes fine - although it seems to transiently appear on the screen during saving - but what the heck. Anyway - I delivered the spreadsheet to my customer - and the controls appeared but downsized and unreadable (still working actually, but useless 'cos one cannot see the text). The customer had a brand new (fully updated) excel 2003. So do I. When I look in his toolbox - he onll has calendar 9.0 available to him. What gives? Anybody got any experience with this? I just saw a post saying that 2003 widgets are broke - but this is bizzare. Any help very welcome. peter |

![]() I had a similar type problem in tat when I delivered a file with a cal 10 control in to users, they couldnt see it at all! Cal 10 is part of a microsoft access install, are they running the on the version of access you are? If not the you can always goto (on my PC)... c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\ and copy the MSCAL.* files to the users pc, register the ocx file and you should be sorted. Hopefully. -- MattShoreson ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MattShoreson's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=3472 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=530823 |
