Default updating log

any advice welcome:
once a form is filled out I need to have certain information logged
from the form i have created a 2nd section (on same worksheet)which
auto fills the log with the data i need the problem i have is when a
2nd form is filled out the infomation already in my log is replaced by
the new information . i need a way to auto advance one line on my log i
thought that _new_form_ button could be added and this would advance the
log prior to entering info into my form if this would work then i would
need to have the form inactive until the new button is actioned as
information could be altered prior to a new form being created. if
there is a better way your comments would be welcomed
