Having recently converted to Excel 2003 from '97 I'm slightly stumped. I
need to add a reference to another one of my XLS files into my VBE environment. When I click on Tools though, the References button is grayed out. Trolling through the help files simply tells me to click ToolsReferences to add what I want. I don't see any help on why that option is not available to me. Presumably some bit of configuration somewhere in the new system isn't right but I've been unable to locate it. Sound familiar? Thanks. Bill |

By any chance is a macro trying to run or is paused? Try clicking on the
square "Reset" button. "Bill Martin" wrote: Having recently converted to Excel 2003 from '97 I'm slightly stumped. I need to add a reference to another one of my XLS files into my VBE environment. You may well be right. I went into the file just now to look at it again
and it works properly now. You've probably put your finger on the problem. Thanks.
