Is it possible to make a column value as readonly?

Yes.
Select your whole sheet, go to Format Cells, on the Protection tab untick Locked. Press OK. Now select the column you want to be Read Only (and only this column). go to Format Cells, on the Protection tab tick Locked (Tick hidden as well if you don't want people seeing formulas behind the numbers). Press OK. Go to Tools, Protection, Protect Sheet. If you're going to give the sheet a password then make it a memorable one, as if you forget it you won't be able to unprotect your sheet. Otherwise leave te password blank and you won't need to enter one to unprotect the sheet. ".NetProf" wrote: Is it possible to make a column value as readonly? -Deepak |

You can unlock the cells you want to allow to be altered (select the cells
