Default is Excel written with multiple threads?

But why when I checked the number of threads of Excel in Windows Task
Manager. The Processes tab can show threads information about the processes
running on computer by selecting thread count in view option. And it shows
Excel is a process with multiple threads. ?? thanks again

No. If you have one, you'll notice that it never uses more than 50% of "the"
processor.
However, as you can read in the Excel 12 blogs (like in this article:
http://blogs.msdn.com/excel/archive/...03/488822.aspx ) the next
version will benefit from dual-core or multiple processors.
