Default Password protection

Silly me. About 5 yrs ago, I password protected a file I had created for my
dad so he couldn't mess it up. Now, 5 yrs later, when he wants some changes
I can't remember what it was! I have records at home that surely say so but
I'm visiting him now!

I recall that EXCEL passwords are not too unique and I found a macro routine
or something like that that could uncover it, or an equivalent. Can someone
hlep me with that please?

Thnaks!
Dean
