Default DEBUG EXCEL

I had a previous post which asked to resolve a problem at run time with
excel 2003 debug in windows XP - I can't hover over my variables to see
their values, when using F8 - to step through a program. - A real pain!!

I checked my toolsoptionstool tips etc - all set OK.

I have now just found an interesting problem - It DOES work, but only if I
close down internet explorer?!! ie I can't get it to work whilst I have IE
running. Any ideas why not?

Thanks in advance.
