Excel should provide an option of merging columns to text.
I face difficulty while tring to sort something of the following form:
VGUIDE_SRD_11350
VGUIDE_SRD_1580_A3XX
VGUIDE_SRD_3504
If a column to text option is provied then I could use the Text to column
option then sort per my requirement then again merge using new column to text
option if provided.

Have you looked at DataText to columns? Use the underscore as the separator
