Default run a macro automatically upon opening an XLS file???

Is there any way to run a given macro automatically upon opening an Excel
file, rather than opening the file and then Tools/macro/macros.../Run ?

Hi Ken,

Yes: Call that macro auto_open().

It will be auto-executed when the.xls is opened unless the user presses
the shift key during open.
