Default Date Format....more questions from a beginner

This is probably very straightforward but it's making me want to pull m
hair out...

I have a Userform which my colleagues can fill out to book equipment
the contents of which then load into a spreadsheet.
In the Userform I have text boxes which need to be filled with Shippin
Date and Return Date.
The problem is if I write these dates into the text boxes usin
dd/mm/yyyy format when I submit the form and the information loads int
the spreadsheet the format changes to mm/dd/yyyy.

How can I stop this happening?
Should it be done in the text boxes' code? I have changed the forma
of the spreadsheet cells to dd/mm/yyyy but it doesn't fix it.

Thank you for potentially saving my sanity,

L

If you live in a region with British format dates it is a 'pull-your hair
out moment' trying to get Excel to show correct dates. I always use serial
dates and change these to the correct format when required ---- see the
following article for some useful tips......
