Extract a date for formula
If I have a REFERENCE date, say 5/12/05 and I need to subtract the number of
days from the beginning of the month so that cell H10 holds the number 12 that I can use in another formula. -- I reject your reality and substitute my own. Promote hydrogen - one of the best "clean" fuels there are! |

Extract a date for formula
If the date you are using is in cell A1, use this formula in H10:
=DAY(A1) -- - K Dales "jsc3489" wrote: If I have a REFERENCE date, say 5/12/05 and I need to subtract the number of days from the beginning of the month so that cell H10 holds the number 12 that I can use in another formula. -- I reject your reality and substitute my own. Extract a date for formula
Isn't one singular?
Isn't the day of the month, the number of days since the start? -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "jsc3489" wrote in message ...
