Default Bypass the "Macros may contain viruses . . ." message

Is there a way to bypass the standard warning for Excel files containing
macros.

We must leave the Macro security setting to Medium.

Thanks

Al,

Since you must stay at Medium level, you can:
1) Sign the project with an electronic signature, and add the signature to the "Trusted Sources"
list.
2) Open the file with another macro, from a file that is from a trusted source.

Nope... That is the whole point to the medium setting. To confirm with the
end user that it is ok to run the macros. Otherwise viruses would just
supress the warning. You can however look into digital signatures.

Thanks - that worked perfectly

Would you also know of a solution working with IE?
The message is "Some files may harm . . ."
Is there a way to disable this for a specific file extension?

Thanks again
