Default Disable "Select Multiple Items" in Pivot Table

I have a pivot table where two members of one of the dimensions in a page
area are mutually exclusive i.e. they cannot be selected together. I have
disabled "All Items" in the dropdown, but users are still able to select both
of them individually, upon clicking on "Select Multiple Items". Is there any
way to completely disable that checkbox, so users can only select one item at
a time?

Thanks!
