I have a strange problem here. I have developed an xla with a bunch of
functions af UserForms. (Some of the userforms uses coolflex.ocx so I can make a grid, but I don't think this is the problem. But I don't know for sure.) It all works fine on my pc, but my friend tried to install it on his work-pc, and it crashes every time he tries to launch the xla. He gets the Dr. Watson error. In our effort to make this work, we eventually tried to make the reference directly from the add-in interface. Then it suddenly works. Of course the xla is loaded every time he starts XL, but there are no crashes. I know the IT department has strict rules about what is allowed on the company pc's. But I am not able to tell them what to do differently in their XL installation in order for this to work. Does anyone have a clue about this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Soren. |
