I am trying to send a friend of mine a utility for her to use at work but
her company's virus protect is stripping out all the macros. She doesn't get
the option to just save the file.

I thought I might be able to export the VBA and then have her import it.
This seems to work well for the module, however, much of the code is in the
workbook and when I export that, it get saved with ".cls" extension, which I
assume means 'class'. When I import that, it creates a new Class Module.

Is there anyway around that?

Thanks, Tim. I hadn't thought about that.

I can't test this again on her system until Tuesday, but my virus filters
were also trapping the workbook when I sent it to myself.

I just tested the zipped file idea and unfortunately that got trapped by my
virus filter.

However, I have tried the following methods to see if I could get it past my
anti-virus system:

1) Changed the extension to '.txt'

2) Cut out the VBA code and saved it as text, so now I have an Excel file
and 2 text files to be inserted using the VBE

3) Exported the workbook code and the module code, to be imported on her end
in the VBE. The workbook code is imported as a Class Module, so that code
will need to be copied to the workbook and the class module deleted.

All three of those methods got past the anti-virus system
