Default Import/Export

I am trying to import an excel spreadsheet into Outlook Contacts. I keep
getting an error message. The message says:

"An error has occured in the Microsoft Excel 97-2003 translator while
getting the contents of a file system.

The Microsoft Excel 97-2003 file "C:\Documents and Settings..." has no named
ranges. Use Excel 97-2003 to name the range of data you want to import."

What does this mean and how do I do so?

Default Import/Export

Hi Ecruz04,

The Microsoft Excel 97-2003 file "C:\Documents and Settings..." has no named
ranges. Use Excel 97-2003 to name the range of data you want to import."

What does this mean and how do I do so?

Open your Excel file, select the range that you want to import into outlook and
name the range: Insert, name, define, type name, hit enter. Save, close and
retry the import from outlook.
