Default visual basic & chart data labels

I need a way to automatically add data label names from a worksheet range to
a chart. IS there an embedded function/option or do I need a visual basic
macro? If so, could anyone provide assistance with this?

Les,

There is no embedded function and the "macro" has already
been written. There are two Excel add-ins that do what you want...

1. http://www.appspro.com/Utilities/ChartLabeler.htm

2. My "Chart Data Labels" add-in available - free - upon direct request.
Remove XXX from my email address.
